Traveling between the spots in Hossegor and Seignosse, our team of federally certified instructors and coaches offers three options tailored to your skill level: in-water coaching for intermediate surfers, video coaching for advanced to expert surfers (once you’re consistently catching waves), and duo coaching—a combination of both—for intensive progress. Single sessions or coaching cards—available for individuals or small groups of up to 5 people. The bonus: access to the Natural Surf Test Center’s extensive quiver, so you can choose the right board based on the conditions and your current skill level.
What is surf coaching ?
Surf coaching is personalized technical guidance, distinct from traditional surf lessons. It is designed for surfers who are already comfortable in the water — intermediate to expert level — and who want to analyze and correct specific aspects of their technique: positioning at the peak, reading waves, takeoff timing, and turning technique.
Unlike beginner surf lessons, which take place in the surf break, surf coaching is done offshore, where the waves form. The goal: targeted and measurable progress.

The Natural Surf Lab is the coaching arm of the Natural Surf School, created to address a simple reality: surfers’ skill levels are rising, and so is the demand for significant improvement. Traditional group lessons are no longer enough for those who truly want to advance. We needed something more focused, more challenging, and more personalized.

Surfing Coaching Video — Analyze and Correct Your Technique
Video coaching is a different approach. While you surf out at sea on your own, the coach films you from the beach using professional equipment. The session includes several trips back and forth across the sand to analyze the footage in real time. At the end, raw video footage is sent to the group, along with a summary sheet.
One-time in-water Video Coaching
